This is a great monitoring system for anyone with a baby. I like that is not web based, so any data about my home or baby is not being transmitted outside my home. Setup is as easy as it gets - place the camera and plug it in, then turn on the monitor. It automatically connects to the camera, and the picture is very clear. The sound is a bit tinny, but serves the purpose it is intended for. You'll hear when the baby is cooing or crying. The talk back feature works well, but the speaker on the camera is not very loud, so if you are trying to sooth a baby that is crying, your voice will probably not be heard. I moved the monitor and cameras to the furthest points away form each other that I could in my house, and there was no degradation of picture or sound. I like that you can pan / tilt the cameras, so you don't need to worry about mounting it at a perfect angle. You just adjust the camera from the monitor. This is an excellent product, and with two cameras, it is a great value for the price.

3 plugs and you are up and running. Simply plug in the cameras where you want them. Place the base where you want it and plug it in. Reach around the back and turn it on and you are instantly up and running. If the camera's are not recognized automatically (mine were with no pairing needed) but if yours are not then follow the pairing instructions included. The image on the screen is crisp and clear and the sound picked up by the microphone is very easy to hear.

This baby monitor is so cool. First, having two cameras is wonderful. I actually want this for pet monitoring and allows me to put in different rooms to follow my pup. The monitor has all kinds of cool features such as remote panning, night vision, and of course, two way talking. I used something like this to help with monitoring an aged parent, and in a pinch you can speak with them if you are unable to see what’s going on. It was a critical element of our care. For babies of course, but pets and elderly are also in need of this type of tool.
